Why façades disappoint

A façade rarely fails on the drawing.

It fails in the gaps between five different companies — the detailer, the fabricator, the coater, the labour contractor and the man who signs off. None of them answer the same phone, and by the time the problem is visible from the street it belongs to nobody.

The fabricator is never the installer

Panels leave the press true. The line on the building isn't. When the crew on the scaffold has never met the crew at the brake, tolerance stops being a number and becomes an argument — and the argument is yours to referee.

What we do insteadOne company from shop drawing to handover. The crew that installs your façade works for the plant that made it.

You approved a render, not a metal

A perforation reads one way in a PDF and another way at forty metres in Delhi afternoon light. Finish drifts between batches nobody controlled. By the time the truth is on site, the material is already paid for.

What we do insteadWe don't quote a façade — we prototype it. A physical sample is signed off before a single production panel is cut.

The finish goes long before the metal

The substrate outlives everyone. The coating chalks, streaks and shifts tone across elevations — and the job-work coater who applied it has no relationship with the building, the architect or the client.

What we do insteadCutting, forming and coating all happen on our own floor in Sonipat. The finish is ours to stand behind.

Selected work

Buildings people
stop walking for.

Fifteen hundred elevations since 1987. Three of them here — the rest, with the calls we made on each, are on the projects page.

One screen across the whole shopfront, the field graded so the thinning draws vertical striations that only resolve from across the street. The letters stand off the mesh — no sign board.

Metaclads Coin Matrix cladding close up — small circular discs fixed in rows across flat panels, each pivoted to its own angle so the rows twist into dense swirling patterns.

Thousands of discs, each turned to its own angle. From forty metres almost anything looks acceptable — this is what ours looks like at two, which is why we photograph it that way.

Metaclads Blossom — petal pressings clad across the columns and piers of a dark multi-storey building, each tile catching light on its own facet.

Petal pressings run as one continuous field around the corner column and across both returns. Each facet takes light at its own angle, so the wall changes all day without moving.

The range

A thousand patterns.
Already cut.

Screens that filter light, tiles that lap and scatter, linear fins that rank and turn corners. The families below are the ones we photograph — behind them sit more than a thousand punch patterns, tile profiles and section dies already running on our floor in Sonipat. If you have drawn it, the die probably exists.

Short answers.
No brochure language.

Does Metaclads manufacture façades in-house?

Yes — everything. Two plants in Sonipat totalling 60,000 sq ft: metal at Nathupur and WPC at Rai Industrial Area. Design, cutting, forming, coating and installation all happen on our own floor with our own people. No job-work presses, no bought-in panels, no coating sent out and hoped for.

Which façade systems does Metaclads make?

The families we photograph are Coin Matrix, Perforated Panel, Leaf Matrix, Pyramid Matrix, Diamond Matrix, Ellipse Matrix Shingles, Shingles, Blossom, C-Channel, Parametric and Aluminium Profiles — plus WPC. Behind them sit over a thousand punch patterns, tile profiles and section dies already cut on our floor, and we cut new ones whenever a drawing asks for it.

What if my design isn't one of the families shown?

There is no fixed menu and no minimum you have to squeeze into. We cut the die for what your drawing needs, in whatever quantity the elevation takes. Send it and we will tell you honestly what it involves.

What finishes are available?

Six house metallics — anodised gold, champagne, copper, corten, verdigris and steel grey. Beyond those, anodising, powder-coat and PVDF cover effectively any shade you can reference by code or hand us as a physical sample, in gloss, satin, matt or textured.

Can Metaclads work from our architect's drawings?

Yes. Send the elevation and we engineer and detail from there, producing shop drawings with loads, fixings and tolerances for your sign-off. A sketch on paper or a photo of the site is also a legitimate starting point.

Do we see a physical sample before production?

Always. A physical prototype in the actual finish is made and approved before production opens. We prototype rather than quoting blind, because a perforation reads differently on a PDF than at forty metres in daylight.

Does Metaclads supply outside Delhi NCR?

Yes — Pan-India supply and installation. Delivered so far in Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad and Agra. Panels ship from Sonipat and our own install crew travels with them.

We'll send back metal.

Elevations, sketches, or a photo of the site — whatever you actually have. It reaches our engineering desk, and you get a real answer about what your façade takes to build.
